friday. stayed and helped out a friend with some video work. went out to dinner. slightly over cooked pork. should have taken off to the valley that night.
saturday. took off to the valley. played a show with big league. saw my ex at the show, which made me nervous and rekindled some feelings of heart break. got a great response from the crowd along with some word about the local paper showing interest? AND the greatest of all, got booked to play show with these guys, whom ive been a fan of for a good long while. i suggest listening to "Ruby's Wishes" on their myspace, which helped push my concept of what "drumming" really is.
sunday. hung out with family. got some work done. ate at this awesome local seafood place which i had been craving for a long time, especially their ceviche tostadas. mmmm. drove back. tried to finish up my friends project i had been helping her out with. no luck. realized i had had pizza and cookies twice in one week as a lunch/dinner deal.
sprinkle in some alcohol all through out and thats pretty much my weekend.
pizza and cookies....i need to start learning to treat my body as a whole better and not just satisfy my brain's desires.
