Dear Professor,
I was wondering if i could get a 1 day extention so that I may express myself more creatively instead of presenting something that falls under the art student stereotype of "oh i liked to draw when i was a kid so im creative, but i never challenge anything or push any sort of bounderies" bullshit? I really feel like i have a great idea, but the due date is a bit restrictive in the sense of me being able to get all of the elements together for it to work. help a brother out?

The due date is Monday, and Monday is really the only evening I can give over to reviewing mural projects this semester.
If you are not able to get it together this time around you'll get another chance if you take my class in Fall 07, which will meet in the evenings, and murals may be possible at any time.

Art school... the way I remember it, those guys were usually a little more inclined to give you a break on shit like that.
