So.... Apparently robots are re-activating old profiles, and mine was one of them. I had almost forgotten how much I loved perusing this site until I almost became late for work after re-activating... 'Tis a good thing I decided to uncharacteristically look at the clock.
It was strange changing things in the profile that haven't been true for at least a year, though some of the changes only occurred recently. Reminds one that no matter how long something has been around, that it can leave in a moment and you will barely remember it in a few years. Sure, there's exceptions to the rule, and this isn't even a rule so much as a guideline (Pirate Code ftw).
I'm in no better a situation lifewise as opposed to 2 years ago, just the dead-end, minimum wage job changed (as did the minimum wage, way to be excited about 8/hr instead of 7.65/hr.) At least I'll be heading back to school in the fall, and this time I'll finish, I swear. Promises to anonymous internet users means a lot more to me than promises to friends and family, obviously.
Off to the coffee making process and the lovely people who make up the regulars at Wal-Mart ::shudder::
