whats new? went to see lynyrd skynyrd last saturday night. excellent fucking show. i know its cliche now to yell out Freebird at every fucking show, but goddamn do these geezers know how to kick ass. all these new whiny emo bitches could learn a thing or two from attending a skynyrd show. 30 years from now you won't have anyone attending the Good Charlotte concert to hear the classics. 
Speaking of 30 years, i turn 30 this friday, which is a thouroughly depressing thought. i always thought i'd be dead by 27. but if i shave this gnarly beard i can still pass for a teenager, so at least i don't look too old. but Land of the Dead opens on my birthday...if there's anything in this world that makes me happy, its zombies!
i saw batman last night. well, i didn't see the actual batman..i saw the batman movie. very cool. could possibly be the best of the bunch. i'll have to do a compare-and-contrast with the first movie to be sure.
