The Little Red Headed Girl:
Charlie Brown, Peter Parker, Me: what do we all have in common? (besides being total geeks who can't get laid to save their lives) we all love the little red headed girl (not the same one, mind you). in a way i guess we all have felt that way. the quest of the epic unicorn, the thrill of the hunt but there will always be that one person (and this goes for women too) that you always turn to mush around. i bring this up because tonight may have been one of the epic moments of my life. i'll save you the gory details, mainly because there are none. but what i will do is catch you up to speed. Betsy is the girl of my dreams, yes nullironbhr that betsy. anyhoo, she is the #2 on the all time breakup list for me. my early school years were taken up by her beauty and in some way i still am. our sisters are good friends so we were forced to spend a great deal of our time together, perhaps forced for her, a great pleasure for me. let's cut to the chase and just say i always knew she was too good for me, and i will never forget the day i relised i would never have her. it was at a dance when i was in sixth grade. i was board out of my mind and relised i needed some air. as i maide my way across the room, my eyes grazed the dance floor and fell upon her. she was dancing with someone who i can't even remember nor am i sure i even noticed. the point is the look on her face told me everything i was looking for. it's a sad tale, but it has shaped me in to the man i am today. so fast forward to today, i'm having dinner and what should i hear but her sweet voice. we speek for a moment, then, yes, we excange numbers. i have her digits, which is a big f'n deal for me. so i'm gonna call her, we'll go out, and i may just have found a reason to stick around, but knowing my luck it will just end up pushing me farther out the door.
