tomorrow i leave for three days in thrilling Kassel. While the trip and the work there be uneventful i am finding myself dreading the whole enterprise... a few nights in an unremarkable hotel, in an unremarkable locale with days filled with trying to make conversation with engineers....'wow, Bob check out that throughput! impressive no?' and furthermore to do this 'auf deutsche'. sigh... the train journeys are always nice though this time i must schlepp the network hardware with me.
