yesterday was my birthday and almost everyone remembered. It means so much to me that everyone remembered except for two friggin people, that honestly hurts more than anything else. Fuck 'em! I finally got a nice collected edition of the Hitchhiker's books, all three of the Neanderthal Parallax trilogy by Robert J. Sawyer, the rerelease DVD of Nausica of the Valley of Wind, and a wonderful girlfriend who loves me.
Man, I love Bad Religion but it's gonna be weird going from them to Syd Barrett. The B's in general are gonna be good tho, after Barrett, I've got Beastie Boys, some Biafra related stuff, Black Sabbath and Flag, Busta, Buzzcocks and Big Black. I'm looking forward to the next few days of music listeningness.
