Ok, this is gonna be a long one because I've got a lot of nothing to say.
First, Attack of the Clones: It's rare that I see a movie that I both love and hate with equal passion, Traffic comes immediately to mind when thinking of this. Now, there is another. Man, when this movie is good, it fucking kicks ass, kicks ass old school Star Wars style, but when it's bad, it makes Phantom Menace look like friggin 2001(the movie, not the year). Anyone who writes dialogue like "YOu're beautiful because I love you" or something along those lines, should be shot, a lot, in uncomfortable places. Hayden Christiansen is such a bad actor he makes James Earl Jones suck, I blame him completely for the Frankenstein's monster breaking off the metal table scene since he begged Lucas to allow him to be the guy in the Vader suit. Also, Vader doesn't yell Noooo like some pathetic sappy hero from some shitty semi dramatic action movie from the late 80's/early 90's. Oh, and if Lucas supposedly doesn't give two shits about us fans' opinions, since they're his movies(he's said this kinda stuff multiple times) why did the T-rex arms suddenly disappear? And having Chewbacca specifically giving Yoda a piggy back ride was total pandering. Most of the Wookie stuff was, but having Chewbacca actually being Yoda's bossom buddy, argh! You can't make up from shitty dialogue and painful story telling that way! And having Anakin know he has children, even if he thinks he killed Padme' is just wrong. Ok, that's just being a lil bitchy, but it bugged me that he knew she was pregnant. That being said, Ian Mcdiarmid has been perfect casting as the Emperor since Jedi and this movie just proved it so much more. This movie had the best light saber duels out of all six, and having the Yoda/Palpatine and Obi-Wan/Anakin ones cut together were brilliant! And I loved all the Jedi killings, I think that shit was just done so well. For some reason, I really liked the teenage Jedi trying to fight off all the clone troopers at the end of the Jedi Temple massacre. General Grevous got on my friggin nerves tho, with his unexplained coughing and shit. Oh, and the dreaded lightsaber windmill! And to everyone who bitched about Mace Windu's death before they saw the movie, SHUT THE FUCK UP! Oh, and Lucas, invest in a friggin thesaurus, I know you can afford one!
Mesmerize is the best album of the year so far! Damn, they just keep getting better and better, at this rate, System may be the best mainstream band since Nirvana. Yeah, I said it. Anybody who can do a politcal song about their cock and shit are my heros. And the rest of the album fucking kills too, can't wait for the second half.
The nin is pretty good so far, haven't finished, about half way thru my cd player died, which is freaking me out by the way. Once you get past that first tecno/dance track, it gets good, and that Hand That Feeds song is much better in the structure of the album than as a single. Oh, and my friend who works at the store where I bought the album told me I was the only person who likes the Fragile, yet he loves the new album, which proves to me that we live in a society with no friggin attention span. I fucking hate MTV.
Because I already said so much about Revenge of the Sith, I thought I'd separate my speaking of the previews. I could not wanna see Batman Begins more! I think Christian Bale may actually supplant Micheal Keaton as best movie Batman ever. The new Fantastic Four preview is a lot better than the first, I really wanna see it now, even if Jessica Alba hurts me. And not in a good way.
I cannot believe people still make movies like Stealth, especially big budget movies that get big summer release dates, that is what's wrong with hollywood. Mr. and Mrs. Smith looks like a fun movie, not good per se, but fun. Damn, if I don't wanna see The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Speaking of which, who leaned over to whom and started talking about wanting to see that shit?!? Yet I'm a geek/nerd/dork?!?!
I love rereading stuff that I love, I try not to do it often, as I have so much new stuff to read, but I've done it a lot lately. I also love when a writer writes more than one genre, because you describe things differently depending on what you write, but when you write different kinds of stuff, you describe things the same as you would in your sci fi that you would in your horror. Damn, if the Hyperion series isn't friggin amazing!

Also, I was talking to my manager this morning and he nearly hit me when I suggested getting the Friday and Saturday before my birthday off, so instead, I'm taking the Saturday before and the Sunday of off. Which means that we should go to Red Rocks to see the Pixies, and more importantly, THE VIOLENT FEMMES! That way I can scare everybody around me by singing their songs as loud as Gordon Gano!
