Well. how quickly things change.

I'm a little down and out. This is the letter I emailed to family and friends earlier today.

Ughhhhhh.

Alas...the presenters in Japan have called and said that our ticket sales are not that great. They presented two options...first to pull the show from coming to Tokyo...or to bring Andrea McArdle into the show. When the show was there in 2001 they played to sold out houses with her. So I've been given two options...fly home or stay with the company as a 'standby.'
Not sure what I'm going to do yet...but good news! Mom was going to come to Tokyo...obviously I'll not be in the show then sooooo....they're going to buy her a ticket to come the last week we're in Korea! So she'll see the show and hang out in Busan with me!
I'm bummed but I know this stuff happens all the time in the world of performing. The cast is trying to convince me to stay...as party planner!

Anyway...it's 3:14pm here...I have 45 minutes to get ready for the matinee. Mein Herr will be a pleasure today. HA!

.....what can one do...I'm trying to find the joy in all of this. BAH! Now I just have to figure out if I stay and fuck off for a month in tokyo? Might be fun...but perhaps I should get back and start looking for the next gig. I'm supposed to shoot a film with some friends in Sept...so that's something I have to look forward to.

I'm sitting in my dressing room right now getting ready for the second show today. Listening to BT...trying to find the energy to put on my lashes and corset and perform. I'm missing my ex quite terribly right now. Sometimes it's good to just have a hug.

I say to myself...BUCK UP! There is no Santa Claus.

I'm going to get a puppy.
