So I stayed an extra day at the river It was just too damned nice not to.
Best part of the last few days was meeting two old ladies that run Branson's resort/RV/Mobile home park. they know my grandfather and one of them is always making cookies for him. Anyway lets just say for the one lady being 85 years old I wouldnt want to cross her path. She has been on numerous bear hunts in the past and has the rugs and stuffed bears to prove it along with pictures. Now I like to hunt but to look a fucking bear in the eyes and then hope your shot kills it takes a WHOLE HELLOVA LOTTA BALLS. Seriously look up bear attacks and such and it will tell ya that in a lot of cases it takes 10+ rounds sometimes of Winchester 300 magnums
Anyway great time was had might even try to make it an event, although a pretty small one I'm sure but it could work especially if I can get to know the two ladies better and maybe get a deal on a spot on the river for 3 days or so
