I haven't had much to say as far as an update went because not a whole lot has been going on. Today I came into work and a bunch of people had just came home from Iraq. I am happy for them and glad to see they made it home safe. I also found out two people that I work with are being deployed. My boss and one of the guys from the other day shift. As it sits right now there is one other E5 and myself that would take over as the one in charge. Who will get it is not important to me because either way we would end up splitting the duty. The thing that bothers me is the dream I mentioned in the last journal. It is only a matter of time before I get deployed now. Go figure, I get my results for the fire department and I passed, I met a wonderful person that means a lot to me, and I am starting to get ahead on my finiances. Who knows maybe it won't happen, I have a feeling though that it most likely will. The military seems to have a good knack for hitting you with a deployment just when things seem to be working out well. They wouldn't send me 3 years ago when I asked to go and its only been the last year that I quit asking to be put on the list. All I can do is hope it holds off for at least the next 6 - 12 months.
