ok I have a cold air intake on my car, Had it for a few years now but never had to have it smogged. when I bought it the guy told me it was legal, I had no idea what to look for to make sure it was. Well I went to get it smogged and its Illegal. FUCKING BASTARD. so I was looking at anywhere from $100-$150 to get the right part with the C.A.R.B. exempt #. LUCKY ASS ME, I find this guy that tells me it straight (and the smog place confirmed this), all I need is a sticker for it so the smog place can verify that the rights to it are owned. $30 bucks. I'm still pissed though because the differance between legal and illegal is a little fucking sticker. but wtf its better than paying $100 bucks. 
So yeah everything passed but the differance between legal and Illegal is that stupid ass sticker. Same goes for the cops, W/sticker=legal WO/sticker= Illegal as far as that particular part on the car is concerned.
