ok so Jujubee's answer was the most clever, thats an opportunist at its best. Missmisha's first part is most like my own, but a little different. SuperScott's is another great way at looking at it and explains why I think Scopitone's answer is wrong in away. half empty only if it had been taken out but half full if it was only filled half way. Ok so my answer, I would be happy to have recieved the glass to hold the water in. It is not something that is neccesarily required but seems to be expected by all when recieving a drink. Long story short, be happy for what it is that you recieve, big, small, cheap expensive, or only a protion of what could have been brought UNLESS you are paying for it then I'd kick the dirty bastard for short handing me.
