Story of the day........................
Well it's Friday......incase you didn't know
I have been pondering what kind of dance style I wanna audition with for So You Think You Can Dance but I am drawing a blank at the moment
Many of my family members have told me to do the one that I like the most but this isn't really an option since I am trained in so many different styles:
Tap
Jazz
Ballet/Pointe
Mondern/Contemporary
Hip Hop
46 Different Ethnic dance styles
.................I have no favorites
My mom told me to do the one that I am best at but I don't feel that I have one that I excel at over the others
I wanna do somthing to try and stand out over others but the only thing I can come up with right now is to dress up in either my flight suit or my Army T shirt and cargo pants and do a hip hop tap number This is so hard!!!! Then there is the whole problem of finding music to use that wont be over played and annoy the judges. The rules of music choice is also kind of a hinder so if I show up with somthing that doesn't fit the rules then I have to dance to somthing that they provide
Any suggestions out there?? If you have a favorite style of dance or music choice that would be kick ass, let me know
I need all the help I can get to try and make this decision easier on me At least the audition isn't until March 7th
With my luck I am gonna get pregnant before the audition Even then - I am going to audition anyways but just for me I have to do this no matter what otherwise I am going to always wonder If this were to happen though I would totally play on it and find the perfect "baby" song to dance to
If there is anyone else out there that is planning on attending the LA auditions let me know.....perhaps we can wait in line together Even if you aren't auditioning and just wanna come for the hell of it I am game My husband wont be able to go with me because of work so I'll be all alone
