When it rains, it pours
Just as all of us who knew Capt Shawn McCaughey (Snowbird #2) are trying to piece together his sudden passing, I get the news this morning that my aunt passed away
This in turn means that I will not be going back to my base for the memorial service the military is holding for Shawn as my family needs me here.
For Shawn:
And for my Aunt - you will be dearly missed
"We should not leave this earth with unfinished business. We should live each day as if it was a pre-flight check. We should ask each morning, am I prepared to lift-off? "
