Story of the day..................

So today is the "big" Birthday

I have to say this because I am not sure what to do with it..............my WORK celebrated my birthday with me more over than any of my family They actually shut the hospital down (well - minimum manning) so that we could all get together for cake and some suprises. My Major (the one who I thought hated me because of all the shit she makes me do over and above my job) got me a $100 gift certificate to go to the spa with all the women from work tomorrow and her secretary let it slip that she thought of me as one of her favorites I cried - I laughed - I cried a little more - I thanked everyone for making it a great day and then we went back to work.....I felt like a princess I have to say that today was probably the most enjoyable day at work I have had in a very long time My family on the other hand.......... My mom called to wish me a happy birthday but that was it. I understand that they are very very busy doing wedding stuff for me (bless their hearts) but I still felt a little sad - just me and my hormones going I guess

Oh well - it was still a special day
