Well after alot of thought and a good talk with piratepete, I think I have come to the ultimate decision of my future
I say goodbye to an old friend:

Nothing is set in stone yet - this is just an idea that has formed in my head
I don't even know if I am able to join yet but I have requested the information to get the process started

You probably can in fact join (some people are able to join the military to serve the US even though they are from other countries, one of the bonuses is of course citizenship, but getting married to Pete will take care of that anyways... Come to think of it, maybe it's my brother who should become a Canadian instead.
