Story of the day.....................
R.I.P. Little Molly

Well - after a weekend "rest" if you wanna call it that, I came home to the news that my little furry friend lost the battle with cancer Saturday afternoon
I kinda felt it was going to happen and feel better knowing that she was in the care of a friend who happens to be a vet, but it isn't easy losing somthing that gave me peace and healing (she was recommended as therapy after a bit of PTSD following our last mid air collison).
The weekend in itself was rather good because Piratepete and I got lots done for the wedding but I am too tired to type it all so if you wanna know what we did just go here.
Work was another sob story today but I am not going to even bother getting into it because it has been an emotinal few days and this was the icing on the cake. I need to talk to people before posting the story on here anyways. Lets just say that what was suppose to be a less stressful environment after this weekend has almost doubled. No - I am not going to Afghanistan (at least not yet) but it is still a hic-up in our future
Well - I hope everyone had a great weekend and all is well.
Kisses

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...
I had a hamster when I was little.
