Story of the day.....................

This journal is full of sorrow as it was exactly one year ago today when I was truely tested as a Medical Technician. The day where I found out if I was able to accept the fact that there are simply those who can't be saved. A day that will haunt me for the rest of my lifefrown

As if this wasn't enough for one day, I was struck with more heart wrenching news.......Our Canadian Military has lost yet another Brother in Armsfrown

It's never easy having to be part of something this horrific, and things like this never go away. I know that time will help you to heal these wounds, but all wounds leave scars. It's part of what makes us who we are, the good and the bad, all of it makes us human. I remember how hard this was for you after it happened, the courage and bravery it took to help you through is a testament to how strong a woman you really are. I am glad that you were also able to help their families with the healing process showing the true meaning of our trade. Our jobs sometimes take us much futher then the caring of the sick and injured and for this we earn the respect of many. For this you will always be a true hero, and you already know what I think of you.
