Story of the day.................
There is somthing to be said for lack of sleep
Last night was the local "RELAY FOR LIFE" cancer fundraiser and my team was ready to take shifts walking around the track for the 12 hours
Hmmm - did you know that when you are sleep deprived and full of sugar that you are cabable of jogging on said track at 4am with full energy? My teammates laughed at me when I said that I was going to run the track for a while but IN YOUR FACE TEAM!! I ended up running for about a quarter of the time I was on the track I even got a little group of other members who decided to run with me
It was very emotional when they lit the luminaries for people who have fallen to the disease and people still fighting. Each teammate was given a torch to lite and walk the track with and I leaked a salty discharge from my eyes for a split second when I got to light my torch off of my sisters luminarie
I am just very lucky that she is one of the ones still fighting because there were many lights there for people no longer with us
All in all it was a beautiful night and we were lucky to have wonderful weather.
Now - if you will excuse me....I must go get some stuff ready for my set shoot tomorrow with the charming rpg
