Story of the day.................................
I'm really confused!
Yesterday my Sgt told me that I was going to be driving VIP Doctors around all day for something that I don't know is happening
I got to work this morning at 0630hrs and did my normal job till 4.........now I sit at home (in my uniform cause I am "on call" until 11pm!
) and I STILL don't know WHO I'm driving........WHEN I'm driving them........and WHERE 
Last thing out of my Sgts mouth before I went home at 4 was......
"We may not even require you to do any driving, but you are still on stand by until 11pm so don't take your uniform off"
WTF?!?!?!?!?!
Don't get me wrong - I love my uniform just as much as the next soldier but I don't really enjoy walking around my house in it just "waiting" incase some doctor (who makes more money in a day than I do in a month, and who can afford a cab if he really wanted to) to decide if he needs me to drive him back to his hotel
Its not like I have much to do tonight, but at 11pm I'll take my uniform off, go to bed, only to get up at 5am to put another one back on and go to work
Gotta love the job on days like today

I always felt on-call stuff was a total load of crap. My brother is ALWAYS on-call for his job. Luckily they never call him, but it keeps him from doing things incase they do. You'd think there'd be someone on duty to be able to handle what ever needs to be done.
I'm hoping someday to find someone around here to actually make out with someday
