Story of the day.................
Did you ever have one of those days where you know you need to cry but you don't know why? That was me today
The only other female Army Medic returned from her leave yesterday and I was SOOO HAPPY to see her!!!! Last week I got a taste of how the hospital is going to run once her and her husband leave for their new base
I have the unfortunate luck of becoming the only female for the summer and last week I could see the "boys club" already starting to form
I am known at work for being a happy, silly little Medic but what everyone at work doesn't realize that once I get home, I sit here and cry for periods at a time because of stress, feelings of confusion, and frustration - its not good!
I had a long heart to heart with her today and she agreed that I was starting to show signs of stress. After venting to her I made the decision that I need to step away from here for a while and just breath. I can't put in my release just yet because of my promotion because it wouldn't look good at all but it is coming - sooner than later
ANYWAYS.........I got home tonight to find this in my messages!!!

i know exactly how you feel but its not really the military's fault in my case..i just reenlisted for another 4 years

I was a expert shooter in the Army, so if they keep stressing you out I can make a visit... Take good care of yourself and everybody here loves you and you can always release all your steam out here...
