Story of the day............

FUCK my job is depressing sometimes

First off I just wanna say that the guys I am working with for this whole ambulance stuff were sooooo much nicer to me today that it kinda scared me a little Honestly I think that the uniform had alot to do with it. They kept telling me all day "You're one of us now! You look so much better than in your fatigues!". Whatever - I'll take it

Now........for the day I had my first suicide patient today which was kind of shocking because even though you always hear about that stuff - until you actually see it, it never really sinks in. Worst of all - he did it the way my uncle did All I could see when we were putting him into the body bag was my uncles face So young......only 36 *sighs* with a wife and child

Most of the day was joe jobs like "I feel sick........I have a cold......I have a sore knee" Then I had my last call for the day 24 year old female involved in a car accident - and she was 5 months pregnant I say the word was because thats all I can force myself to say. Not a good call after a day of "baby fever".

So that was my day in a nutshell......I know they all won't be like this but it was just alot for one shift
