Story of the day.................
So after a sleepless night over worrying about work today, I got out of bed..........showered.................dressed in the new uniform (which looks too much like a Police uniform for my liking) and headed out to work.
Got into work to find out that I wasn't suppose to work at all this week
It seems that my Sarg told EMS that we were on an operational pause due to a staffing shortage and that I wasn't going to finish my last 4 shifts until the fall! FORGET THAT!! So after a few phone calls, it was decided that I would finish off my shifts Mon - Thurs 
Oh well - once I am done these last shifts then life will be good again
I just don't like the people that are suppose to be "training" us. They don't realize that I am NOT a paramedic student and infact have a license just like them. I DON'T do the job all the time though and I am rusty on my protocols. What they really need to realize is that their full time job is my hobby 4 more days - just 4 more days 
In any case - I don't know why people find it necessary to take pictures when you aren't looking or expecting it but this is how I have to dress when working on Civi streets (minus the proper name tags and Military Police pants instead of Medic ones).............
Of course since we JUST got the uniforms, and we only go down town one at a time to work - I was quite the noviltey today since I am the first to wear the new duds
Oh well - this is me in all my "tired as hell" glory
