Story of the day....................
Thank you so much to everyone who congratulated me on my promotion....I am still kinda getting use to the word "Corporal" in front of my name.
I am SO SO SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY that I haven't gotten back to everyone, but life is not being kind to me this weekend
In the last 3 days, I have dealt with many many ambulance calls that have put a new perspective on my job
I have seen everything from a cocaine overdose, to a teenager hit by a car as she was riding her bike home, seizures, diabetic emergencies and my all time favorite.....the cardiac arrest 
I hate having to perform CPR and this morning at 4am I found myself hunched over an 87 year old woman doing chest compressions so hard that I actually broke 3 of her ribs (Don't worry - that is a normal thing to have happen) 
I am also VERY sick. I mean sick to the point of almost having an IV shoved into my arm this afternoon FUCK THAT SHIT!!! As soon as the words came out of my Sgts mouth, I bolted for the door!!! Oh well - it will pass I hope since my throat is so raw that I can't even swollow
Anyways - since I have only slept about 2 hours in the last 2 days, I think I should try to sleep a little......I have work to do tomorrow on my day off
