What ever happened to the days where you would get up at 6am.......pour yourself a bowl of


.....turn on the tv for your Saturday morning dose of




Then after all that, head to the local candy store to spend your $2.00 allowance on



and maybe play a game of



All the while listening to



Seems like all of that was replaced with







It seems that Saturdays are just not as much fun as an adult as they were when we were kids which is why when I have children I am going to park myself down with them every Saturday and feed off of their excitment for a simple day of the weekbiggrin

I hear you. I remeber those mornings and having scheduled what cartoons to watch and what channel. I miss that sitting there in my he-man pj's watching he-man open up a can of whoop ass on skelator. What happened to those times? Anyway hope you have a great day and I'll talk to you later.

That'll be tricky - the cartoons these days are nowhere near as innocent/fun as the ones you mentioned - they're either advertisements, lessons delivered with a hammer or sly adult cartoons pretending to be for kids but without the style and fun of Rocky and Bullwinkle, or some combination of the three.

I'd recommend taking them to the park or into the country with a bunch of their friends and playing for hours - it'll be ALOT more fun and better for everybody.
