Story of the day.................
I had to spend most of the day working OUTSIDE!!!!
..........not that it was really that cold - maybe only about -10 or so but after 4 hours of it without time to warm up it starts to get to a person 
The military decided that it would be a good idea to build our new ambulance garage in the winter so today was the day that we had to transfer all the equipment (hospital beds, stretchers, medical O2 tanks etc..) from the old one to the new. 
I was FREEZING by the time I got home tonight at 7. All I wanted to to was to climb into the tub - not only to warm up but to loosen up my muscles from lifting heavy things like lockers and stuff all over the property. Upon getting home, my roomie looked at me and asked why I was all red, so I told her that I was freezing. You know what she did??? She said "Oh - that really sucks" then went and had a shower!!!! She had been home from work since 4!!!! I think that she could have done that in the 3 hours I wasn't there....but NO - she had to have a shower at that exact moment!!!! 
So I sit here still FREEZING, just waiting for the water to get hot again (she was also doing a load of laundery) Oh well - I have my favorite blanket (my cuddle) wrapped around me so that I look like a burrito
I FINALLY GOT THAT THING I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET FOR THE LAST MONTH OR SO!!!!! This makes me oh so happy because it is one less thing I have to worry about
I don't actually have it in my posession right now but it is being custom made and I shall have it in about a month
