Hello! I have a couple pictures for you all. Be surprised seeing as how I never take pictures.
Went down to clean out the house after the tennets/friends moved out and came back with two awesome hauls of stuff they didn't want so they passed it off to me.
First is this:
I've needed one of these since my last one died so it's nice to be able to listen to my vinyl again
He wouldn't let me grab the old Ramones albums that were next to it though *pout*
And second is this nice haul:
All I need is the A/C adapter for the NES and AV cables for the Sega. I figure I can find those online for pretty cheap. The N64 has everything with it and all of it just needs a good cleaning and I know the other 2 systems work I just need the parts.
This was a gift from my Mom. She knows me to well and I love it
My new addiction
That's a Bowl of Soul from Tupelo Coffee and Tea here in Sac. It's right by Sac State so I usually wonder down there when I have a bit of extra cash and get one of those to help me relax and power through some homework.
Speaking of Homework. My roommate is slowly going mental from Math homework since finals are sneaking up on all of us
She really is going mental though. You can hear much cursing and yelling from the kitchen and bedroom while she studies. Makes me so happy I'm not a math major.
NickStone Has gotten this song stuck in my head and I love it so therefore l must share it with you all
Other than that all is madness. Finals are sneaking up and the massive amount of research that is required for my senior seminar paper is more than daunting. The topic interests me though so at least the research isn't boring. I'm writing on technological body modification in Cyberpunk and how it relates to modern society. I have however decided to take today off. I plan on laying around in my boxers all day reading books that have nothing to do with class, listing to music, playing rift, drinking coffee, and doing generally fuck all. I will then save tomorrow for general panicking, working, and mental breakdowns do to stress and overworking. I think it sounds like a plan.
Also the new season of Doctor Who starts tomorrow!!! I am SO EXCITED! You have no idea. It's one of my favorite shows and this season one of my favorite writers wrote an episode. That's right the always amazing Neil Gaiman! And it doesn't hurt that the new companian, Amy Pond (Karen Gillan), is damn sexy
