I hope everyone had a nice nice Valentines day or as my friend calls it Singles Awareness Day (SAD).
My plans sadly had to be put off to another day. My lover is hard up on cash and was offered $25 an hour to babysit tonight so we are putting it off till Wednesday. I may still get to see her tonight when she gets off work though
Speaking of Wednesday the 16th will be my 28th birthday. I'm excited about it. Last year I had to be carried out of The Shady Lady here in Sacramento by the bouncer at closing because when I tried to stand I fell face first onto the patio floor. Suffice to say I had a good time.
This year we are going to a new place that opened up in Sacramento called Dive Bar (http://divebarsacramento.com) or trying to anyway. The place is apparently a pain in the ass to get into because it has been packed and it is an "exclusive" kind of place. Which means every one that is coming with us is in a suit or dress. It's always nice to have a reason to get dressed up though.
I decided to get one of those ECigerettes so we'll see how that goes. It should arrive tomorrow some time and I plan to nerd out on the birthday money from family. I'm thinking of either picking up the Call of Cthulhu PNPRPG or the Arkhem Asylum board game. I've been on an H.P. Lovecraft kick lately.
