So these past few days have been kinda crazy. Besides all the reading for school and my final papers starting to sneak up on me I also got in a car accident (don't worry I'm fine). The insurance company said it probably isn't my fault but I am for now without a car so I've been having to bum rides around Sacramento to get things taken care of. Luckily I have nice friends who don't mind carting my ass around so I can take car of errands and see the girlfriend.
I'm actually quite excited about my final paper. I'm doing it on adaptaion of childrens tales to erotic stories in Alan Moore's Lost girls. The 3 volume graphic novel was and exspereament on whether or not porn can be art and each panel is hand painted. Here is an example of the full page paintings in the books.
The Twister that brought Dorthy to Oz
Other than that I went out the Saturday before Halloween (I had a paper to finish on Halloween) and had a blast. I went bar hopping with my friend Megan and my lover Lex (Zebra, Old Tavern, The Mercantile, and Badlands. Anyone in from Sac will realize only one of those is a straight bar. Drag Queens just know how to party). and ended the night dancing. I ended up getting in a fight with the ground on the way back to the car. I lost but I think I taught it a lesson. I woke up the next day with bite marks, cut up a little, and glitter on my face which was just further proof I had fun.
