Party went well last night. Was small and chill just like we wanted it. There was much drinking and dancing and as a birthday gift from 2 of my friends I was given a hallowed out bible with a flask in it. Good times.
As for today I woke up had a Bloody Mary and some "Irish-ed up" coffee and now there are veggies being grilled on the BBQ.
All in all it has been a good weekend. Next weekend is another big party and then a couple people I know are going to Vegas but I'm passing on that one due to lack of money. My close friend/ex's parents live out there so we would have a free place to stay and free food but there is no way I would be able to go out and do things.
Tomorrow I'm going to stop by a local coffee shop, Munchies, and see if they'll let a couple of us local artists hang some of our art up there if we pass them some money if something actually gets sold. I'm also thinking about putting together a little stapled together book of poetry and seeing if they'll let me leave some copies there to sell for like $2 and pass them a $1 per book sold. They've been down for letting a couple of us do art parties there and also letting people put on small events (a Rock Band 2 tournament for example) to raise money.
