I'm actually all caught up on my school work. I know amazing huh?
It seems my Brit Lit 2 teacher might bust a brain vessel by the end of the semester. It turns out that over half the class has no idea what a poetic image is, that and that fact that on the last quiz when asked to do an in depth reading on a section of text most of the class summarized the passage. HOW SAD IS THAT?! I mean really. You're taking Brit lit and don't know an image or how to analyze a passage of text thats just pathetic.
I have also finally started my Dective story. He needed a mission and I just couldn't figure out what it should be and now I know. He has go find a women's brother who has fallen into a cult that worships Nietzsche's idea of the Superman. So that should be fun.
Finally bought my Burning Man ticket for this year. I'm Uber excited about it. A group of us are going as Dune Fremen so that should be fun. I'm also brewing up a batch of Meed for the occasion.

I'm really excited! I put in my TAG (Transfer Agreement) to UC Davis! Woot! I'll be going there for winter of '09. A ways I know but still. I hear they might start a class that is just on James Joyce's Ulysses and they also have a class coming up on SciFi as Literature. The nerd in me is so excited it's ridiculous. A friend of mine and fellow English nerd is transferring the same time I am. So we will probably be rooming together in order to push each other to do our work. We're mildly competitive with each other when it comes to theory and interpretation. In fact I owe him lunch because he beat me on the last paper (the bastard).
ANYWAY. I should go be productive. I have some story writing to do and some Shakespeare to read. Hope to hear from you all soon.
