So, yes, I'm alive.
I've been working mornings, moving evenings. I am now successfully moved in...it's just a matter of unpacking. I love my new job so far, I was taught register and then left to check out a good 60-70 people on my first day, simply because I'm such a bad ass...then today was pretty great, but for no particular reason.
Yesterday a group of AMAZING Portuguese women came in and bought cheesy souvenir license plates...I swear, I wanted to fly back with them. Either Portugal picked their most beautiful women and sent them over, beautiful women hang with beautiful women, or everybody in Portugal is beautiful. I'm hoping for the last one... But I got 20 Euro cents! It was so sweet, one of the women gave it to me as a gift...I already have one of each of the notes and coins already, but it was so great to see it again. As an added bonus, it was minted in Portugal and, thus, had "Portugal" on the back.
I'm sitting on our living room floor typing this on our new cable internet! It's been so incredibly expensive...just as predicted. I was so pissed because at first the net was not working with my computer...but after unplugging the cable-to-net converter box, all was well. I have made a triumphant return to the halls of SG.
Does SG have halls? What the fuck does it have?
Oh, and this can't technically be considered self-promotion since I no longer have anything to gain from this, but...did you guys realize that I used to be a musician? I quit because I didn't really dig the songs I was writing...and I realized that I pretty much wasn't good. Lacking the sufficient amount of time also played a role.
Well, laptop battery is burning down at the speed of night (which is coming down way, way too fast). Leave me some comment love!
