Pretty crappy day...But last night wasn't half bad!
I went over to a mate's house where a couple of friends came over and we all smoked some pot in his room. It was insanely good schwag - 3 hits got me stoned well into today. They were big hits, though... But it was amazing, I just kicked back and listened to my iPod, in awe at all of the music I was hearing. I listened to The Mars Volta, and it just blew me away. I don't remember what else I listened to, because I was falling asleep. I am apparently one of a few people who hallucinate while stoned. I close my eyes and see oscillating, colorful patterns pulsing to the music. It's amazing to me. I got a total head high (whereas you can also get a total body high...less intense, but very pleasurable). I was pretty much in ecstasy. Got home around 2 in the morning, fell asleep.
Woke up around 10ish, not sure...Got dressed for my first day of work at Express, still a bit high. Not wanting human contact. Got an overwhelming amount of human contact. Liked the people there, felt very nervous and pressured, moved around like my feet were on fire, too scared to stand still. Got home, had my dad bitch at me like 6 different times, decided to leave just to get the fuck out of the house. Goddammit I can't wait to be back at school. I hate fucking SMU, but it's better than sticking around at home. I love my parents, but I'm very tired of being around them.
So ANYWAY, I'm back to feeling a bit tired, drained from the trip (mental) that I took. I had some interesting thoughts, just sitting there and watching the people pass by. It was actually very serene and relaxing. I learned last semester that it's a bad idea to smoke pot when you have class the next day...very bad idea.
