Last weekend kicked some ass. I saw Between the Buried and Me at Rcktwn for their DVD show. Two whole sets which totaled about an hour and 45 minutes of music for 9 bucks. The band and our whole entourage went and Lauren and I were able to get within three people of the barracade but it took a certain amount of thrashing, elbows to ribs, and some windmilling to really piss people off enough to get out of our way. Hopefully, we'll be on the DVD. It's set to release in October I think. Those two sets were killers. The first set was Colors verbatim and the second set consisted of songs people voted on myspace for. They were nothing but the classics. I couldnt' have been happier, especially since they played "Aspirations". That's the first song I heard from them 4 years ago.

I've been staying at my girlfriend's house the past 5 weeks and it has also been pretty cool. We hang out all day, play with her dog, carpool to work at night, and just get to spend a ton of time together. This weekend though, I'm going back home to visit with my family since I havn't seen them in 5 weeks. I miss them and it will be a great chance to get some "I missed you" cooking out of my mom,

So far, this summer has been a pretty damn good one.
