I’ve made mistakes as I tried to correct my mess with you. I shouldn’t have ignored her feelings as I tried to emphasize mine. And I shouldn’t have force my ideas of perfection on her. For awhile I thought to find the perfect you I had to find the perfect woman. I was wrong. The truth is no one is perfect. This is why to truly love someone, you have to love unconditionally. The perfect “you” is unconditional. And when I did learn to look past the flaws, I was able feel the complete you. The idea of perfection can only hold little truth, which one’s true perfect self can only be found through another because of you. You have a way of completing people through the heart.
