Highlights from the Cheech visit to T-Town and The Hill household.

Insane boxer pup with a desire to mame all that lives.

Killer jam session at Toledo's Oldest Bank. Crazy bastard on laptop with contact mikes and various audio programs. Monolithic drumming. Guitar and sax skronk abound. Compitent and loyal bass playing.Yes, it was grand but not a minute of it was recorded. It's better that way.

Pasolini's SALO. It puts merit into all of the times I told an authority figure to get bent. Watch who you put in charge.

The art musuem closing at 4:00 pm

The Collingwood Art Space not letting people into the building.

Former car town (like Detroit) just crumbling in every aspect possible. Infrastructure, Population, etc.

Hungarian madness at Tony Packo's. Checking out all of the signed hot dog buns by the likes of Al Hirt (Mr. Green Hornet theme himself) and Jamie Farr (he loves Toledo and Tony Packo's...wow).

DVD Extravaganza!!! Come on down to nerd city with your host WhiskeyFightPit. Live footage of the Jam and a doc. about THE ONLY BAND THAT MATTERS The Clash. Half Tempted to pop in Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man. FISHING WITH JOHN LURIE was chosen instead. The Tom Waits segment is the best by far. The only real episode that was sub-par was the Matt Dillon one. I think he may take himself too seriously. Why would he do this? Doesn't he know he's Matt Dillon???

The Karoli VHS. I was splattered on mushrooms and couldn't figure out how to play bass. So I just ran musique concrete CDs and Dusty Acappella minidisks through my amp and effects until it was time to leave. I played with the knobs a little. I was completely fucking lost. It was a mistake. I ruined a potentially good show. I'm too far gone to be using drugs. Why take the shortcut when you're already there???

Overall, it was a good time. Cheech forgot his gear though. That's some expensive shit.

The Chris Isaak show was great. He's the classic performer. If I was Chris Isaak, I would be happy. Sophie B. Hawkins opened up the show, so I showered myself in $8 beer and didn't feel bad about it.

Hopefully, August will continue the streak of good times and good luck. Maybe I'll go back to school. Maybe my medication will work. Maybe things will look up.
