Maximillian Schell has his fuckin' space probe headed for the Black Hole!!! I just bought this insane ass Line 6 pedal. This company is sick in the head and I rather enjoy it. For someone who can't play very much in the way of traditional guitar music, this pedal is a ray of sunshine. It's an FM4 Filter Modeler. Basically, it has most of the old 70s synthesizers in one purple box o' destruction. Here's a list of what this little tart has to offer

Yeah, all of this model number masturbating is greek to my hillbilly ass. All I know and understand is that with loud Marshall amp and button twisting...this purple box brings the lumber. It will add a nice element to Karoli. Shit, it's not like I'm going to actually practice CHORDS or SCALES or anything. I'll just keep buying new effects pedals and letting the fuckers feedback. That process worked for me ten years ago, it will work for me again. What am I going to do with a bunch of chords anyway? Play something that sounds a little like someone else? I may as well just shake a few screws loose with some noise. At least then I KNOW I sound like other people.

There is one more Line 6 pedal that I have my eye on. If I remember correctly, it's a red box shaped just like my purple mars rover. Variations of flanger and Leslie rotating speakers were two options I remember from the manual. Oh, and it had a setting for the Uni-Vibe pedal that Hendrix used to use. Not that I'm going to try and learn THE BURNING OF THE MIDNIGHT LAMP or anything painstaking like that. If I can put the sonuvabitch in stereo with two amps it will sound delightful. Realistically, we need to purchase some microphones. These piddly minidisk mics sound terrible. It picks up natural distortion from the air so it sounds like someone is blowing real hard into the mike. Normally, a side effect like that would be appealing, but it totally drowns out every player in the room.
