The computer got some kind of virus. So I'm not going to be getting sick-wit-it on the ole SG as much this week. From what I'm told, the Gateway my pops bought back in 2000 is a piece of garbage. That's what the guy at the computer store said. They're not crappin' me negative because my brother is good friends with the owner. That's the kind of connections one needs in life. Both of my uncles do cars and I've got a computer guy. Wez aint the kinda folk that'll be sportin' a doctorate on the wall so I'll take what I can get.
Elvin Jones kicks ass on drums. The album "At this point in time" has got some solid free playing on it for being a 1973 Blue Note issue. Jan Hammer doesnt sound too much like a flake which is good. Steve Grossman is on sax and I'm pretty sure he's the guy Miles was using around the same time. He's all over the place. I'm not a musician so I use terms like "All over the place" to describe someone who "cooks".
My friend who is visiting from Colorado like the whole VILLAIN ROCK concept. It's going to catch on. Believe me. Its probably going to be a big nerd fest like a GWAR show but I'll take what I can get. Women don't seem to like songs about the insane amount of news coverage one might get from killing a room full of nuns or my favorite writing concept- the raping of gargoyles. I just can't win with the ladies. Thank god for Asian Massage Parlors.
