Legalized Gangsterism. Sound pretty neat right? You've been watchin' all of those sensational organized crime pictures since you were a child. They seem like great people! What a fantastic and exciting way to live!!!

That isn't remotely true. I had to have four stitches put in back in July. It wound up costing me 600 dollars?? Wait a minute. All that was used in the sewing process was sterilizing liquid, stitches, and one of those paper bed coverings. 600 dollars? Did they have me confused with the guy getting his appendix removed? Nope, it's just legalized gangsterism. Full on, by the books, extortion. There isn't a damn thing you can do about it. Luckily, I'm in the continually dwindling group of Americans with health insurance. The whole shebang only wound up costing me 200 dollars out of my pocket. 200 dollars is still totally ridiculous for a 20 minute doctors visit. I should have went to a sewing shop. Shoulda had the sewing lady treat it as an alteration.

I'm not proud to live in this country. There is nothing exclusive to this country that you can't find in Europe or Canada. The whole extortion experience has sorta lit a bonfire under my complacent ass. I think I'm going to go back to school and get a degree. Possibly English education. Maybe they can clean up my sentence structure and spelling errors. I know Braveliltoaster would love to see get to a high school grammar level. Anyway, with a degree in tow, I believe I could find work somewhere in Canada. Granted, Canada has a high unemployment rate. I also know very little about that country. What's sold me on giving them my citizenship is the health care issue. HEALTH CARE IS NOT A PRIVELEGE...IT IS A RIGHT. I'll defend that statement to the death.

Housing, food, clothing, health care, schooling, transportation, and electricity are some of the things a nation should provide for its citizens. If there are budgeting conflicts, then the taxation bureau starts a top down grab of the cash flow. It makes perfect sense. Until this country realizes this, I'm not going to put my tax dollars to use here. Plain and simple.

All insurance companies are criminal. But you can't get by without it. Which is part of the criminal part.

Round robin, round robin...

Mrs. Robinson is my car. Her gas milage is less than stellar, so I tend to drive my mom's Camry even though it is in no way as cool as a 1969 Chevy Nova.

I loved Christopher Pike's vampire triology. I forget what it was called, but there were a lot of allusions to Krishna. Hot damn, Krishna was one hot blue bitch.
