So I sit here after a VERY long day at work, Red Hook chillin right nest to the mouse, and I realize life ain't all that bad. So I've been bummed out the last day or two, it was my fault, right? I'm the one who put my heart on my sleeve. I should learn to stop doing that. So many other things are going great right now! I'll be starting school in about a month, work is great, I still have a few great friends and my dog loves me!

Yesterday, I remembering what it was like to be 6 years old. Damn, I miss that. I miss only having to worry about missing your favorite cartoon, or not being able to go out and play with the other kids. I miss my mom making burnt chocolate chip cookies. I miss chaasing blue-belly lizards. I miss sliding down hills of iceplant on cardboard boxes, I miss beating up my older sister only to have her sit on me and feed me dog food. Sometimes I just want to go back in time and do it again. I don't want to change anything (ok, maybe a few things) I just want to experience it again.

*I want to make mud-pies
*I want to chase the neighbor boys
*I want to sit on the tire swing all day
*I want to make up silly songs and sing them all day
*I want to go swimming in a public pool and not give a damn about who peed in it
*I want to build treeforts
*I want to get excited when my birthday comes around

I think I have the " Peter Pan syndrome"
can a girl have that? I wonder
