So, life has been pretty damn good lately. Work is going really good, looks like I might get that promotion after all, which will mean a little more money *woohoo, I'll make $8.00 an hour now! Did you sense the sarcasm? But guaranteed hours and a little raise is a damn good thing.

I have been spending a lot of time alone lately, and I have been loving every minute of it. I have been painting again, which is always a good outlet for bottled up emotions and energy. I'm bummed right now though. The piano is going to have to wait a little while. Lack of man-power is keeping me from getting the damned thing moved out of my mom's house. So, if anyone wants to come to Fresno for the day and help me move the sucker, I will love you forever and ever.

I picked up "Choke," by Chuck Palahniuk, yesterday. I am about half way through it, and I have been loving every page. Its been so long since I have picked up a book just for the hell of it. Its been too damn long.

Have you ever allowed yourself to get so caught up with other people's worlds that you seem to forget about your own? Over the past few months, I have been so preoccupied up with other shit, stupid shit, that I have neglected myself. I haven't been doing the things that make me happy, that make me who I am. Thats about to change
