it's difficult painting in confined little boxes, esp. when you need a lot of small detail. and all my brushed have gone to shit because i leave them out with paint in the bristles and then, yea. i should take better care of my things is the bottom line here.

First stencils are always a little rough. Like, first anythings, I guess.
Indeed I am part of the stencil group. Not much action going on there though...
The rattle-can is relentless
There is a great street art "scene" in Melbourne, stuff like citylights and projects by paste-up and stencil artists that make use of abandoned buildings and sites around the city.
This sort of thing is starting to take off in Hobart (my current home) in a big way. It is a pretty male dominated culture though. But I'm getting there...

heresy2007:
thanks,
i am kind of backed up on the buckle orders at the moment, but if you keep on me, in about three weeks, I could make you one, and send it to you.
no charge,
but if someone asks you where you got it, you have to say, On SG, and if they want one, then they have to pay...
anyway let me know.

Thanks for telling me anyhow.
Your file sizes may be too big, or you might be working with the wrong format. That's all I can think of.

my friend didn't get her grant to stay in vietnam, so it looks like i'm not going this summer. i feel bad for her because she came so close, and she was really excited about it.
i'm almost done christmas shopping, or christmas giving. i wrapped up a bunch of old 7 inches and records for my little brother because he just got a record...

So where is the tattoo raffle??? May be tempted to try...
TV on the Radio stuck out on an old post of yours.... I've been dying to see them.. Missed them in NYC, as I opted to see the Music instead during CMJ. But, I bought TV on the Radio's CD mainly for "Staring at the Sun" which is amazing... then there was this do-wop on the CD which totally ruined it for me. Still would like to see them as they are quite interesting looking...

I love Burmese, every review I read compares them to Whitehouse. I have heard about Whitehouse for so long but I have never listed to them. Have you heard the new Wolf Eyes? I just bought it.
How did you find out that Burmese was pink and brown? I thought that Brown was in the Young People and Pink is in the CoachWhips now? Those vocal are a dead ringer though.
I just read this article by Tom Smith from To Live and Shave In L.A. I thought it was very entertaining.
Dusted Magazine: Tom Smith
