My Adventure At An Extemely Large Grocery Store

Usually when I go grocery shopping, I just go to the small little market by my house and pick up whatever I need for that particular night, or I travel a little way over to WholeFoods to get nice seafood or exotic whatever stuffs. But yea, I usually only shop for what I'll be eating that night, or at most, for the next day, like with leftover vegetables and such. HOWEVER! Yesterday I was feeling very crammed-up in my house, because it was raining all day and my girlfriend had the car, and when she got home, I took the car to the BIG grocery store, you know, for a little change of pace, just to keep in touch with the real world, have some nice fluorescents bathe down on me.

It started off pretty innocently, I just grabbed one of those hand-held baskets and went to the produce section and started getting some carrots and onions and some fruits. I remember that all their basil looked like crap, so I didn't get any. Then I went over to the little 'cheese island' that always kind of sits off to the side of the produce in large supermarkets, with just like a bunch of pseudo-fancy cheese, and I bought the biggest thing of garlic goat cheese, the biggest thing of braided italian (it wasn't called Moz), and something called Dubliner, which is an Irish cheese.

By the time I made it to aisle 12, my basket was full, so I needed to go outside and grab a pushy cart. I do this, and then all hell breaks loose. All of a sudden, I realize that now I can go buy all of the weird random kooky shit I've been looking at in aisles 1-11. I went nuts; I bought everything that looked even remotely interesting, and bonus points if it looked like it might taste awful, but in a good way. Here are some highlights, and know that I highly recommend a trip to the biggest supermarket you can find near you, at least once every few months:

Highlights

1. Brocolli and cheese frozen side
2. Cruncheritos: little frozen tacos!
3. Pre-chooped and seperated garlic cloves. 20 of them in 1 package!
4. Cheese dip. Mmmmm.
5. Four different kinds of cracker! one called Bible Bread.
6. Cinnamon Rolls, JUMBO!
7. Smore'z Cereal.
8. 2 different cream cheeses.
9. Farfel.
10. And lots more stuff that I don't feel like looking through my fridge for. I had to rearrange my fridge to fit all the crap I bought. After I eat all this I'm eating white rice for a week to clean my system.

Best.

churchmonster:
Backstreet boys shopping,

i love the frozen small foods area (Cruncheritos). Those fatty cheese poison puffs are a guilty pleasure to the max.

I also like to get the desert bake boxes that only require water. Those fucking suck but.....they only require water! BONUS.

I also like the ridiculous selection of toothpaste and toothbrushes.
