my friend didn't get her grant to stay in vietnam, so it looks like i'm not going this summer. i feel bad for her because she came so close, and she was really excited about it.
i'm almost done christmas shopping, or christmas giving. i wrapped up a bunch of old 7 inches and records for my little brother because he just got a record player. i'm even giving him my special edition nirvana 'incesticide' clear vinyl LP. i'm a crack whore record collector. nobody gets 'maggotbrain' though!

TV on the Radio stuck out on an old post of yours.... I've been dying to see them.. Missed them in NYC, as I opted to see the Music instead during CMJ. But, I bought TV on the Radio's CD mainly for "Staring at the Sun" which is amazing... then there was this do-wop on the CD which totally ruined it for me. Still would like to see them as they are quite interesting looking...
How did you find out that Burmese was pink and brown? I thought that Brown was in the Young People and Pink is in the CoachWhips now? Those vocal are a dead ringer though.
