If a fight over some movie destroys your relationship that easily then you were never really good friends. It's just a movie, even if it is one you really enjoy. And everyone is entitled to there own opinion, even if you don't like it.
The movie industry right now is pretty lame, very few original and unique movies have come out as of late. But thankfully you don't have to like or watch any of them would be best if you both talked it over, and remember that it's just a movie.
