I'm off to Colorado again for a little R n R, I wish I meant rock n roll even though I do need the rest. I've got this idea bouncing around in my head about selling out here and buying a piece of land in the mountains, maybe with a river in the back yard, find an el-cheapo mobile home to live in and build a house myself. Only an idea though. I really like my work here & it pays very nice, but I don't want to live here forever. I love the desert & everything about southern Nevada, but Vegas is as plastic as it gets and it's difficult for that not to work it's way into one's consciousness. I have no idea what I might do for work somewhere else... I'm getting closer to having my peepers fixed, I'm anxious to be able to get back on the other bikes again. I suspect that my current malaise may be eased by a healthy dose of velocity, we'll see. The mustang has a head gasket leak. a big let down after the day after day for months building the motor & trans, then solving the endless problems with both. No matter, it will be fixed, just not right away, It's too goddamn hot out to think about a head swap right now. -I KNEW I shouldn't have used the gaskets that I did. free items aren't always the cheapest.
