Well, shit. I'm sure the guilt would have subsided once the puppy was here, but I've changed my mind about buying the siberian husky. Somebody else can have that cute little purebred guy, I'm sure he'll find a home easily. Instead I'm going to scour the shelters for the perfect mutt. Tomorrow is supposed to be seriously windy, so I think I'll take the day off and start looking.

She's bigger now.
I found myself really wanting a pure bred husky like you were talking about, but I know I'd never be able to do it.
There are too many deserving animals in the shelters.
I wish I could save 'em all!
