Ok, here's one you haven't met yet. It's been beside the garage needing rings (i.e. total rebuild) and a tranny for about three years. It looks decent from a distance, but don't let that fool you. It has body rust coming through the old paint in a bunch of different places but no rust holes and no real structural rust problems. The body panels don't line up well, the rear bumper is bent, has no hubcaps. In other words, perfect!

I think it looks like a criminal's car from an 80's television drama or something. I almost hate to do anything to the rust, but it HAS gotten worse over the 3 years it's been sitting, so I better. Primer spots are cool anyhow. I finally picked up a motor & tranny, so that's what's on the agenda presently. I had to move the car from beside the garage since the neighbors are having a wall put up, I can't imagine why. Sometimes I go sit and have coffee out in the back yard so I can visit with my junk. I think maybe the neighbors are jealous. Despite having very good jobs they just can't seem to aquire very many spare motors or motorcycle wheels or buckets of bolts. Poor folks, maybe they've got a gambling problem or something.

You should get a swimming pool and fill it with solvent, so you could dip a whole vehicle at a time...
