I don't know if the unnamed drama will be over or not, but I did manage to find some peace of mind by swallowing my pride, which is the last fucking thing I ever consider. So I won't be taking a fishing trip with a bait bucket full of somebody's intestines this weekend. Whether or not he's still intent on feeding me my own ears remains to be seen. I'm not even 1/8th the tough guy I make on about, and I really aught to learn to watch my mouth sometimes.

Bikes: The H2 frame is stripped, I scrounged some metal that will work for the bracing. Hopefully I'll get that welded in this weekend. I sent the crank/rod assembly off to be re-built. In a multi-cylinder two stroke, there are seals on the crank that separate the crankcase into chambers, one for each cylinder. If those have the slightest leak, it'll never run right apparently. There are ways to check if the seals are sealing, but since the bike sat for the last 20 years I was advised that they will probably leak once I get it running even if they test ok now. Since it's apart I bead-blasted the cases, and will polish the covers & such. I still haven't installed my camera's software after re-booting a couple months ago, but I'll do it & post some pics soon.

If I remember correctly there was serialised rebuild of a KH in a mag I buy each month called Classic Motorcycle Mecahnics. Looked awesome when it was finished. I'd love to be able to tackle a classic resto myself but I don't have the tools, space or the tech know-how, so I just read about other peoples and dream. smile
Yeah that message from Blyss put a spring in my step lately I can tell you. How hot is that lady???
